Gritty Surprises 7-Year-Old Boy With A New Leg
Today in feel-good news: the Philadelphia Flyers’ terrifyingly lovable mascot gave a 7-year-old boy a customized, Gritty-themed prosthetic leg! Caiden O’Rourke has been a patient at Shriners Hospital for Children in Philadelphia since he was born with a rare orthopedic condition. Both of his legs are prosthetic, and over the years, O’Rourke has received several custom prosthetic legs (many featuring Philadelphia sports stars and teams). But he wasn’t expecting to have one paw(?)-delivered by Gritty himself! See the encounter below…
