The FM Band Knows How To Start A Dance Floor Party

Over the weekend, we made a trip to Live Casino in South Philly, and we ran into a familiar face alongside his band — The FM Band.

This past Saturday, we were walking through Live Casino towards the center bar of the casino when we heard a great band playing music.

By the way, the center bar is a really cool bar that has 360-degree views of the whole casino!

After hearing the band, we decided to get a closer look and when we did, it turned out it was our buddy Kyle Mack’s band!

 

The One and Only Kyle Mack…

For those unfamiliar, Kyle Mack works for The Preston and Steve Show down the hall running their live streams and any other video work they need done.

He also helps us out at MGK with any video work we need done as well.

You might remember our great video promoting the “Whole Lotta Loot” contest we ran on The Matt Cord Show With Steve Vassalotti. Well, Kyle Mack was the one who put that all together!

 

We already thought Kyle was extremely talented due to his work here for the radio stations, but it turns out, he has even more talents than we even knew of with The FM Band.

What a fun band.

The FM Band consists of three female vocalists along with Kyle, a horn section, keys, guitar, bass, and drums.

 

The talent in The FM Band is through the roof.

From start to finish, they play nonstop dance music, and the people love it.

The dance floor was packed, and the band knew how to get the most out of the crowd participation.

 

If you are in need of a wedding band, a band for a birthday party, or just want your party to be lit, hire The FM Band immediately!

My 25-Mile Bike Ride With Casey Boy Preparing For Ben To The Shore

As many of you know after reading my post about the Stanley Cup from yesterday, I spent the last week on vacation down the Jersey shore.

And from many of my other posts before that, you know I enjoy going for some long bike rides — especially down the shore!

So what could be better than squeezing in a nice bike ride on a week’s long vacation? Squeezing in a nice bike ride on a week’s long vacation with a great friend of mine, of course!

I got to go on a great ride with my buddy Casey Boy from The Preston and Steve Show on our sister station, WMMR.

We rode through multiple shore towns as we got in a practice ride in preparation for this Sunday’s Ben To The Shore ride! For those that don’t know, the Ben To The Shore Bike Tour is a charity event that raises funds for Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, which is for the families of fallen first responders and police officers.

It is always a lot of fun and something I look forward to each year!

During our practice route, Casey Boy and I rode about 25.81 miles from Wildwood to Town Bank to Cape May Point to Cape May then all the way back to Wildwood where we started.

It was a great time and has me ready to conquer the 65-mile Ben To The Shore ride! This will actually be my tenth year riding in the event and each year it gets better and better.

    Like I mentioned in the photo above, there they are leading the way. It’s a tight bridge like many down the shore. Luckily, we all managed to make it across.
