Pigskin Picks NFL Week 14
The Chiefs and the Eagles came at my week 13 picks with a hatchet. 1-2, not pretty as the L’s creep up towards my Ws. Thanksgiving weekend really set it back and got us all turned around. Let’s try to right the ship in Pigskin Picks NFL Week 14. As always Pigskin Picks is brought to you by Parx Casino and Sportsbook – this is how you win – must be 21 – gambling problem call 1-800-gambler.
Last Week’s Record: 1-2. Overall Record: 26-20.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons ATL -1.5
I don’t often have faith in Baker Mayfield, but Atlanta’s best corner may be out A.J. Terrell may be out with a concussion. Their other starting corner Jeff Okudah also missed practice on Thursday with an ankle injury. If Terrell is out, future hall of famer Mike Evans has a great chance to go off. If Okudah is also out, this one might get away from Atlanta. Atlanta’s offense still struggles to score. They only beat Tampa by 3 with 2 healthy corners. I’ll lean that Terrell is out and Evans has a day.
Pick – Tampa Bay
Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers LAC -3
The Broncos just had their 5 game win streak snapped. I don’t like Sean Payton, but he’s done a really good job turning the offense around. I’m also not super fond of Russell Wilson, but I think the Broncos get right back on the horse (on themselves?) and not only cover, but win outright. This Chargers team is bound for a coaching change come Black Monday. The Broncos have a real shot in a clogged AFC playoff picture. Take the points and an inspired Broncos team.
PICK – Denver
Eagles @ Cowboys DAL -3.5
I mentioned in our Pigskin Picks NFL Week 14 on air segment that if it were any other Eagles QB heading into this game I’d be taking Dallas. Until Jalen Hurts proves his will to get better is less than we believe it is, I’ll ride with him. He along with the Eagles got punched right in the mouth Sunday. The Niners not only ran their mouth, they backed it up. Now the Eagles have to show that it was a 1 time thing and not a blue print on how to beat them. 49ers DE Nick Bosa thinks they figured out Hurts and laid out that blueprint. It’s up to Hurts, Brian Johnson and Nick Sirianni to prove that to be false. Eagles haven’t won in Dallas since 2017, but Jalen hasn’t played in Dallas since he had his 1st full season as a starter. Take the points. I might be blinded by Eagles green, but I think Hurts keeps this team’s hold on the division and 1 seed in the NFC.
PICK – Eagles
