Barring any catastrophic injuries the Philadelphia Eagles will win Super Bowl 58 on February 11, 2024. We've had a few days to digest Howie Roseman's NFL Draft. He should be teaching a class on general managing on the Masterclass app, every team in the NFL would have their GM signed up for Howie's masterclass within minutes of him creating it.

Heading into the draft on Thursday night the Eagles roster was still pretty darn good after their trip to Super Bowl 57. They lost a few pieces in free agency, have a few franchise stalwarts that are close to the end of their career and had some needs to fill on both sides of the ball. On Thursday night they stocked the cupboard with 2 defensive lineman from college football's best defense. Drafting defensive lineman Jalen Carter at 9th overall and defensive end Nolan Smith at 30 fills the soon to be open hole of Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. Just an amazing night for the Eagles to get possibly the best player in the draft and another guy who some experts had going to the Eagles 20 spots earlier that they got him.

Howie's masterclass wasn't just a one off, on Saturday he traded into the early part of round 4 to take another Georgia Bulldog, cornerback Kelee Ringo who a lot of people had projected as a late 1st round or early 2nd round pick. He then traded pennies for Philadelphia native (and former University of Georgia Bulldog) running back D'Andre Swift. The team not only added really good talent to the RB room, but it cost them less money than Miles Sanders Carolina contract.

Here is a look at the offensive weapons after the draft weekend:

Plus Rashaad Penny, Kenny Gainwell and just for the 2 games against the New York Giants Boston Scott.

Once the offense scores all the points there are to score in games, they have a defense that could be just as unstoppable as the offense. Look at this rotation on the line: Josh Sweat, Fletcher Cox, Jalen Carter, Hassan Reddick, Nolan Smith, Milton Williams, Jordan Davis, Brandon Graham. That is just insane.

As I said before, drafting SEC players is good. Even better if it's mostly players from Georgia and Alabama.

Yes, they need to play the games and nobody wins on paper, blah, blah, blah. The Eagles offense and defense are both stacked, and ready for a return trip to the Super Bowl. Get those bets in now before the odds drop drastically.

Go Birds!

Jason Kelce Spent Draft Night #1 Chugging Beers With Birds Fans

After hours of red carpet coverage, awkward fashion related questions, and the final reports of rumors and speculation, the highly anticipated 2023 Draft Night #1 finally kicked off around 8pm. It's being held in Kansas City. Roger Goodell pointed out that's it's the first time that it was held in the Super Bowl Winning city since the event went back on the road in 2015.

Before the first pick, The Commish brought famous KC fans Eric Stonestreet and Heidi Gardner on stage with him. Possibly to subdue some of the boos? Nice try. To everyone's joy, the actors encouraged the negative chants from the stage. The program continued by brining out Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Sure Travis had the full attention of the hundreds of thousands of KC fans in front of him, but the all white, fancy designer clothes and sunglasses-at-night vibes reminded all of Philadelphia that we have the better Kelce.

Our Kelce wears t-shirts and flip flops. Our Kelce is a Sea Isle guy. Our Kelce is a damn Mummer.

Jason showed all of these qualities last night in Kansas City. He wasn't chilling in the Green Room with the fancy people. He was in the crowd, with Eagles fans, chugging beers.

Sporting a t-shirt from his Underdog charity merch line, the six-time Pro Bowler was hanging out in the middle of the GA section of the 3.1 million square feet of Draft space. NFL Network Host, and proud Eagles Fan, Colleen Wolf went out in to the crowd with the cameras to find him.

The Hungry Dog was signing baby dolls, a joke that started on his New Heights Podcast, and chugging beers. There was a celebratory beer when the Eagles traded up to get Jalen Carter at the #9 pick. A GO BIRDS beer, and countless others. Jason Kelce, man of the people!
