Pigskin Picks NFL Week 4
Alright it has been an ugly start to the season! It’s outrageous! Egregious! Preposterous! Down right atrocious! Let’s hope for a winning week for Pigskin Picks NFL Week 4. Not much to say regarding the losses last week other than the weather had less of an affect on the Bills, and more of an affect on the Ravens. Both led to bad news for the picks. At least the Eagles covered. As always Pigskin Picks is brought to you by Parx Casino and Sportsbook – this is how you win – must be 21 – gambling problem call 1-800-gambler.
Last week’s record: 1-2. Overall Record 4-5
Los Angeles Rams @ Indianapolis Colts. IND -1
Gardner Minshew slapped on his bomber jacket and aviators and pulled off an improbable win. Someone needs to check if a few of the refs had any money on the game because they missed a completely obvious pass interference call on a Ravens drive that would have put them in easy field goal range for Justin Tucker. In terms of a cover didn’t matter. Colts had the number covered either way. Anthony Richardson returns this week to QB the Colts, but I’m worried a concussion so quickly into his NFL career will make him hesitant to run the ball. I’m leaning rams on this one because without the running Richardson isn’t accurate enough. On top of that Matt Stafford has sort of looked like his old self, except Monday night in Cincinnati. Rams outright.
PICK: Rams
Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans. CIN -2.5
The Bengals seemed to find their passing offense this past Monday night against the Rams. If this is the case then Cincy has no problem covering and dispatching a horrendous Tennessee pass defense. There really isn’t any need to try and run the ball against them, 1 because their run D is outstanding and 2 because they’re pass D is a joke. Burrow and the Bengals get to .500 on the season picking up the road win in Nashville.
PICK: Bengals
Commanders @ Eagles. PHI -8
Sam Howell came back to earth against a good Bills defense and now sees a defense that is getting healthy on the back end and is just immovable in the front. The Eagles run defense gives Brian Robinson absolutely no room to move. Once they’re forced into passing against a mostly healthy secondary expect the sack numbers to start climbing. This Sunday is the 1st day of #RedOctober and the excitement in Philadelphia is going to be through the roof. The Eagles are too much for the Commanders and it’s going to be a great start to a very fun month in the city.
PICK: Eagles
With the picks made the only thing I can do now is cross my fingers and hope for a good week. GO BIRDS!
